Scotland in Japan

Scotland's Summer Tour to Japan - 2016

Scotland travel to Japan this summer to take on the Brave Blossoms, our RWC 2015 pool opponents, in what is sure to be a strongly contested two-Test series.

The first match will be played on 18 June at Toyota Stadium in Toyota City and the second will be held on 25 June at Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo – with both matches broadcast live on BBC.  The squad will be gathering in early June for a training cap before departing for the tour and putting on the thistle for the first time since the end of the 2016 RBS 6 Nations.

Scottish rugby clubs are hosting events throughout the summer, including the 2016 RBS RugbyForce weekend (13/14 August 2016).  Many are looking to attract new members, volunteers or visitors, offering live screenings, serving food and bringing the local community together to get behind the national team – or engaging in a bit of DIY to get ready for the new season.  If you’d like to get involved, meet new people or simply watch the game in a friendly atmosphere, you can search our Event Finder above, or browse our Club Finder to check out your nearest local club.
